It has a professional working width of 81cm, and a snow intake height of 50cm. It has a 342cc, Briggs and Stratton Professional Series 1650 engine and transmission is hydrostatic providing you with infinite control over speed, both forward and reverse, with no clutch or gears. This offers superb handling and manoeuvrability. A large fuel tank capacity of 3.8L enables longer working sessions. The dual-stage action involves a heavy-duty saw-toothed auger, revolving to grind through snow or ice pushing it back to the fast-moving impellor which forces it up and out of a snow disposal chute. This model can throw the snow up to 15 metres away. The disposal chute rotates through 200°, controlled remotely, as is the pitch of the snow stream. Both are operated by a button, from the dashboard, and the blower is one-hand controllable, meaning you can carry out rotation and pitch changes without stopping work or leaving the operating position. Snow shoes on the auger hood are vertically adjustable enabling varying of the clearing height which allows clearing on shingle, pebble drives or other surfaces. Extra deep-patterned tyres, designed to grip rough terrain and ice and snow are fitted to the large diameter wheels. A powerful LED headlight for work in poor light or visibility is included and there are both an electric start and a lawnmower style recoil pull chord start with an oversized handle to enable starting with gloves on. Finally, the handles are heated, offering real comfort in the cold.
