The Stihl MS290 Farmboss Chainsaw is a powerful and robust all-round saw, which produces exceptional levels of torque and is ideal for use on farms, in the building trade and for felling small trees. This saw also has an optimum centre of gravity and incorporates a highly effective anti-vibration system, making it particularly comfortable to use. Other professional grade features include the Quick Stop Super chain brake, which stops the saw when the rear handle is released, or in the event of kick-back; the Oilomatic chain lubrication system, which significantly reduces wear, consequently extending the life of the cutting attachment; the Rapid Micro Comfort chain for an extremely smooth cutting performance and Side Chain Tensioning which allows the chain tension to be easily adjusted, without risk of contact with the chain.
