The Stihl MS180 Handy Compact Chainsaw is ideal for pruning trees, chopping firewood and for felling trees up to 30cm in diameter. This lightweight, yet robust tool is easy to handle and comfortable to use thanks to its anti-vibration system and its optimised centre of gravity, while starting is made easy and smooth by Stihl’s ElastoStart system. It also features many of the facets of Stihl’s professional range saws, such as the Quick Stop Super chain brake, which stops the saw when the rear handle is released, or in the event of kick-back; the Oilomatic chain lubrication system, which significantly reduces wear, consequently extending the life of the cutting attachment, and Side Chain Tensioning which allows the chain tension to be easily adjusted, without risk of contact with the chain.
