The Stihl MS180 Handy Compact Chainsaw is ideal for chopping firewood, pruning trees and for felling trees up to 30cm in diameter. This durable, lightweight tool is easy to handle and comfortable to use thanks to its anti-vibration system and its optimised centre of gravity, while starting is made easy and smooth by Stihl’s ElastoStart system. It is also environmentally sound, thanks to the incorporation of a catalytic converter, which reduces the unburned components in the exhaust gas, thereby reducing emissions by 80%. Many of the features of Stihl’s professional range saws are incorporated, such as the Quick Stop Super chain brake, which stops the saw when the rear handle is released, or in the event of kick-back; the Oilomatic chain lubrication system, which significantly reduces wear, consequently extending the life of the cutting attachment, and Chain Quick Tensioning which allows the chain tension to be easily adjusted, without the need for tools.
