The Stihl MS180 C-BE Handy Compact Chainsaw is ideal for pruning trees, chopping firewood and for felling trees up to 30cm in diameter. This lightweight, yet robust tool is easy to handle and comfortable to use thanks to its anti-vibration system and its optimised centre of gravity, while Stihl’s ErgoStart system reduces starting effort by introducing an additional spring between the crankshaft and the rope rotor. It also features many of the facets of Stihl’s professional range saws, such as the Quick Stop Super chain brake, which stops the saw when the rear handle is released, or in the event of kick-back; the Oilomatic chain lubrication system, which significantly reduces wear, consequently extending the life of the cutting attachment, and Chain Quick Tensioning which allows the chain tension to be easily adjusted, without the need for tools
