The Murray 17.5/46 Side-Discharge Garden Tractor is equipped with a very high-performance Briggs & Stratton Intek overhead-valve engine and an exceptionally wide 117cm (46”) triple-blade cutter-deck; features which combine to make it a fast, efficient performer on grassed-areas in excess of two acres. Its side-discharge design allows it to tackle long grass, such as that found in paddocks and meadows; while for a more formal finish on regularly maintained lawns, you can fit the mulch-kit, which is supplied as standard. The Murray 17.5/46 has an infinitely-variable hydrostatic-drive for improved control and manoeuvrability, and also incorporates a cruise-control function for greater operator-comfort when undertaking long, straight-line runs. Other high-specification features include a push-button electronic clutch for easy blade-disengagement; a cast-iron front axle, for enhanced longevity; and anti-scalp wheels, which help to prevent any turf-damage.
