The MTD T450 Rear-Tine Petrol Tiller is a powerful, heavy-duty machine, ideal for breaking-up large areas of virgin ground. Its high-performance 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine drives a set of self-cleaning heat-treated tines with dual-direction selection for effortless tilling in the most difficult soil-types. This versatile machine also features a reverse drive to the large pneumatic wheels, which can be separately engaged for excellent manoeuvrability. Exceptionally robust, the MTD T450 is equipped with a chain and gear-drive transmission, which is housed within a permanently sealed and constantly lubricated case for an extended service-life with no maintenance needed. The handle height can be adjusted to suit the operator. This model has a very generous 46cm (18”) tilling-width.
