The MTD 53SPBE-HW High-Wheel Self-Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower is equipped with electric key-start, so you won’t have to struggle with a starter-rope every time you need to empty the grass-box. Its high-powered 190cc (6.5hp) B & S engine, extra-wide 53cm cutting-width and power-driven transmission make it a fast, efficient performer over large areas; while its high rear-wheels provide added manoeuvrability and allow the mower to run smoothly over rough terrain. A versatile six-stage height-of-cut lets you tailor the blade-position to suit the conditions; and a large-capacity 80-litre collector extends run-times between trips to the compost-heap. The fabric collector not only improves airflow for more efficient collection, but also ensures it won’t take up much space during storage. Folding handlebars also help to reduce the size of the mower when it’s not in use.
