After collection, hedge-clippings are sent through an integrated shredder, which reduces them at a rate of 10:1, producing a material ideal for composting or mulching. The Garden-Barber’s high-performance 7.2v lithium-ion battery doesn’t have to be empty to be recharged, and it suffers no memory loss (it charges in just five hours, giving a run-time of 30 – 35 minutes).
