The Einhell BG-RS 2540-CB Electric Shredder employs a highly-efficient roller cutting mechanism, so it’s far quieter-running than a conventional impact-type machine. Driven by a hugely powerful 2500w motor, it’s capable of turning even large, hardwood branches (up 40mm in diameter) into a fine mulch that will rapidly compost. A large hopper-opening makes filling the shredder as easy and waste-free as possible; and a large-capacity removable collection-box (60-litres) makes it easy to carry processed material to the compost heap.
