The Castel XD140 Side-Discharge Lawn Tractor combines a hugely powerful 13.5hp Briggs & Stratton AVS engine with a very generous 98cm width-of-cut, so it’s ideally suited to lawns and paddocks over two-acres in size. Its exceptionally tight turning-circle and six-speed manual transmission (including reverse gear) make it highly manoeuvrable; while its seven-stage height-of-cut (25 – 80mm) is adjustable from the driver’s seat and allows you to make performance-enhancing adjustments to the blade position. The Castel XD140’s side-discharge design makes it a great performer on long-grass areas, although with the mulch-kit fitted it will be equally at home on more formal lawns. Twin-headlights allow for safe low-light operation; and a very large-capacity 6-litre fuel-tank allows for lengthy run-times between re-fuelling stops. For added convenience, this model is equipped with a holder for a drinks bottle or mobile phone.
